After driving through Lawton, Oklahoma the prairie quickly opened up as we left town and entered the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge. First we saw the mountains of rounded rocks ahead of us and then we started to see longhorn cows grazing on the grasses. One of whom crossed the road just ahead of us. We slowed down and I captured this photo.
