A migratory Great Egret bathes in a shallow pond reflecting the surrounding landscape in San Antonio. Great Egrets nest in San Antonio and elsewhere. Migratory Birds biggest threat is destruction of habitat by humans. Climate change will impact their range due to a warming climate.
