Great Grey Owl - Deep in the Snow
This Great Grey Owl dove into the snowbank from a nearby fencepost. It's head was buried in the snow and was still for sometime. When it stood up, I could only see part of the owl due the snowdrift. It gave the image a unique look, with the bank softened in the foreground and the grasses in the distance.
