12th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Great Grey Owl
This Great Grey Owl was an excellent subject for photography. He sat nicely as i slowly approached and took pictures with each step. The end results were a sharp picture of the Owl, with a great bokeh effect on the cattails in the background.
