An incredibly beautiful wounded Great Horned Owl landed in our backyard one afternoon. Two baby deer happened to be walking through the yard about that time when they came upon the owl. They checked each other out for quite a while and then the owl flew off. Interestingly enough, they respected each others space and enjoyed the openness of the backyard together.
