Great White Pelicans Swooping Down to Feed Voracious Black Colored Chicks

I visited Djoudj Park in November 2008. All of the pelicans were white! I returned this year January 2023. More than half the pelicans were black colored chicks! The ravenous chicks impatiently awaited the arrival of their parents with the regurgitated morsels that they carried in their huge beaks.
