After hiking through the Monteverde Cloud Forest, I stopped for a cup of coffee at a small coffee shop at the entrance to the natural park and spotted this Green Crowned Brilliant sitting on a branch a few yards away outside. I was attracted to its bright green color and the articulate detail of its feathers. Funny thing that after hours of hiking in the beautiful grey cloud forest, I took one of the best photographs of the trip while relaxing at the local coffee shop.
