A green heron set to swallow a frog after catching it at the edge of a pond around noon at the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia, USA. It was fascinating to watch the bird meticulously going through a lunch ritual -- using its bill to twist the head of the prey and drowning it before positioning it headfirst and then swallowing.
