While watching a pair of wolves move through a meadow in Grand Teton National Park, we went ahead in anticipation they would keep going the direction they were heading. I set up and waited. As the wolf approached, it stopped, looked my way, and then continued on it's journey. My heart was pounding and my hands were shaking, not from fear, but from the experience of having a moment of connection with a wolf.
