Grizzly Portrait! This young Rocky Mountain Grizzly is on the USA endangered species list. She lives in an isolated area of northern Wyoming along the border of Yellowstone National Park. Last summer just at dawn, I photographed her eating clover among the wild flowers at 10,000 ft. Hearing the sound of my camera shutter; she slowly raised her head to see what was going. Moments later she disappeared over the ridge into the safety of the vast Beartooth-Absaroka Wilderness.
