Isolated in northern Wyoming and bordering Yellowstone Natural Park is the huge Beartooth-Absaroka Wildernesses. It’s the home of Rocky Mountain Grizzlies which are on the endanger species list. Last summer in early morning dusk at 10,000 ft. on a slope above Beartooth Lake in the Beartooth Wilderness of Wyoming I was photographing a sow grizzly eating clover among wild flowers. Hearing the noise of the camera shutter she slowly raised her head and used the yellow daisies petals as a cover barrier between us. Moments later over the ridgeline she disappeared into the vast wilderness.
