In the heavy heat of a North Carolina summer, people and animals get weary and move slowly. Finding any patch of shade is vital in getting through the day sometimes. This little green frog was being lulled in a newly opening leaf of an elephant ear plant in my backyard. There was a slight breeze gently rocking the leaf while the frog relaxed.
