Grotto Azzurra
The beautiful blue glow of the Grotto Azzurra is created when sunlight seeps through the grotto's pinhole entrance and reflects off the sea floor. Known by the Romans, Emperor Tiberius used to swim in the grotto and statues of sea gods that used to adorn the cave have been recovered from its interior.
