Growing Up on the Prairie

As the small towns of the prairie fade to nothingness, the old getting older and the young leaving, there is little to do for fun in the farm life but what you make of it. And so, truly, the fun is infinite in a way never found in the cities. One thing our little family has found is archery. No, we are not good archers. But it brings focus, improvement, strength and skill out of my young children. Here, we practice at night on the driveway on a cold late Spring evening.
