This lovely Guadalupe Fur Seal surfaced very near our boat while we were heading to Victoria Inner Harbor where our petroleum-free wooden motorsailer, AMA Nature, would be part of Victoria's annual Classic Boat Show. I love how the submerged body of the beautifully-photogenic seal is slightly visible in the sea, which took on an unexpected but untouched abstract affect.
