Guadalupe Pilgrims Bare Witness
Each December thousands of Mexicans walk, bicycle or motor to various state capitals to show their devotion to the country's patron saint, the Virgin of Guadalupe. They display her image in a variety of forms, some even cartoonish, but others that require a certain degree of sweat, such as those who carry huge framed prints of the Virgin.
