Seracs in the Gabriel Icefall branch of the Gulkana Glacier in the Eastern Alaska Range. This is an absolutely incredible place to hike. The glacier is visible from the Richardson Highway, about 8 miles away. This photo was taken in July. A week earlier, I was snowed out in the same location. On this day I really lucked out with warmer temperatures and sunshine!
