Guttation

I like to soak up the atmosphere of serenity in the morning in my garden. Here and there, dewdrops bead. On the budding leaves of old roses, it's the phenomenon of guttation that catches my amazed eye and adorns the vegetation with a natural lacework of ephemeral jewels. Note: Guttation is the appearance of water droplets on the leaf tips of herbaceous vascular plants at the end of the night.
