Hall of Mirrors

The Hall of Mirrors is the most famous room in the Palace of Versailles in France. Historically, this palace dates back from the 11th century in which it was the seat of political power in the Kingdom of France from 1682 when King Louis XIV moved the royal court from Paris to Versailles. It was also here that the Treaty of Versailles was signed on 28 June 1919, ending the First World War.
