Hanalei Bay is one of the most visited spots on Kaua'i, Hawaii. The locals pull their trucks and cars onto the beach with surfboards strapped to anything that will hold them. When the sun starts to set and the visitors head home the locals head to the beach and make it their own. The sounds of Jimmy Buffet, the smell of grilled foods, and the sight of friends and neighbors sharing everything they brought sums up the Hanalei Pier experience.
