Hands of God

Doctors were undergoing a most difficult surgery of the liver, Biliary atresia of a baby of just eleven months during the period of COVID 19 pandemic in a nonprofitable child hospital at Kolkata. This is an emergency condition which requires urgent diagnosis and treatment. According to the surgeon, this is the most difficult period to perform any surgery because of a fear of infection with COVID19. " We have to wear PPE kits, double musk, face shield and to take other preventive measure to protect us, as well as the patient. It's very difficult for us. Sometimes we have to do the surgery without COVID test because of an emergency. COVID+ children are mostly asymptomatic. So, there is a chance of infection even after taking enough precautionary measure."
