On the last days of summer 2014 in Hanoi, I spent the entire afternoon for a rambling and food "sampling" session; tried to enjoy the very best of the city. Hanoi has been transforming itself to such a dynamic capital. Hence, the Old Quarter is a perfect blend of the Hanoi "now" and "then". Cyclos, early 20s bicycles, sidewalk coffee, and all those relaxed afternoons, drinking the last sun rays of the days seem only to be spotted in 20th century literature pieces. Nonetheless, they all reappeared on an ordinary day at the Old Quarters. Hanoi is always Hanoi, regardless time and space.
