My family and I took a trip to the Oregon coast as a way to ground ourselves during this chaotic and frightening time. My daughter was filled with pure joy as we ran onto the abandoned beach. As I watched her play I realized that even though we are living through such turbulent times, my daughter's spirit goes unbroken. Her love and fascination for the world around her is never ending. She is an inspiration to say the least and is more grounding than any beach I could ever go to.
