I was watching this mom and her two babies playing in the woods. She gave a little bark and the babies took off for the den. Mom left the area for maybe two minutes. When she returned the babies bounced out of the den, so happy to see her - as if she’d been gone forever. I’ve watched many fox families and the kits are always so happy to see mom even if she’s been gone only two minutes.
