Hard at Work
A Pompilid Wasp digs ferociously in the desert sand to hunt down a spider victim. Pompilids use their forelegs to dig. When they find their prey they will paralyze or kill the spider and lay an egg on the abdomen for the larva to feed on when it hatches.
