This image is of a huge Harpy Eagle and it's trainer. It had been a "rescue" as a chick, and raised at the Condor Rescue Park (a huge bird sanctuary) in the town of Otavalo, near Quito, Ecuador. The eagle had developed a deep trust with it's trainer, and enjoyed flying to great distances and heights, then returning for a "treat".
