Harvesting water lily
When rainy season graces its presence, the Mekong Delta area easily floods as the rise in sea level makes the soil suitable for a particularly beautiful plant - the water-lily. And that is the time for local people here boating through the flooding canal to harvest water lily blossoms and deliver them to a nearby local market for selling while they're still fresh.
