Hawrelak Sunrise Reflections

I took this picture at a park in the Edmonton River Valley. The weather forecast from the night before predicted high clouds at about 50% coverage so I knew I wanted to be setup somewhere for a sunrise photo. I woke up early and walked to a park that I knew had a small lake in it hoping to catch some light in the lake. When I arrived conditions were perfect. The sun had just begun to peek over the horizon and the I saw the clouds catching the light. In addition there was a light mist in the lower portions of the park and as I approached the lake I saw the a light mist was hanging over the lake as well.
