My friends and I set out to take on an ambitious 20 mile through-hike of the famous "Enchantments", a mountains valley that includes multiple stunning lake and mountain vistas. The weekend was supposed to be hazy due to wildfires, which was disappointing. However we decided to attempt the hike anyways. We made it to the view of Colchuck lake right as the sun was starting to rise and we were getting good visibility. I found that the sunrise through the haze created amazing colors and light that I'd normally never see in this spot, and I had to snap a photo.
