Headed into the unknown near the summit of Haleakala volcano

The Summit Area of Haleakala begins at 7,000 feet in elevation and reaches 10,023 feet at its top. From a bright and sunny day with blue skies at sea level the weather began changing as we gained altitude - a turn in the road and suddenly visibility was zero where this cyclist was heading.
