This image is from a series I made over several weeks and shows a group of people heading into the main hall of Grand Central Terminal from the 42nd St. Entrance. In this instance a hand appears to extend from the ticket window, offering a quite distorted passerby a piece of luggage. Dark, ominous stalactites hang from the ceiling of the cave (the Main Hall) fracturing the travertine floor while commuters are transformed into dystopian forms as they head into the City.
