Hear me Roar
Coyotes are native to California and are repopulating the San Francisco Bay Area where they lived in abundance until the mid-1900. When humans stopped killing coyotes, they began building dens in the Bay Area in the early 2000s. Now, it is fairly common to see them in local parks and golf courses. But to hear Coyote barking is a bit unusual and I was fortunate to photograph one in the middle of his song during my morning birding walk in a local park.
