Inside the Cypress forest of the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, there is a Barred Owl family living there for years. Every time we stay in South Florida, I always go visit the refuge, hoping to meet the family. I felt very lucky to meet one of the two owlets from this family while visiting the NWR this Spring.
