This is a crab, which I photographed at Latpanchar. These crabs go into hiding during the rainy season. They hide under the mud along the streams. More interestingly, they go deep into the mud under the place where waterfalls hit and make a white, frothing splash. During the monsoon season once the rain gets is over, they come out of their place of hiding for prey.
