This photograph was taken in the summer at Watkins Glen State Park near Ithaca, New York. While the park has 19 waterfalls, it was the stunningly smooth curves of this gorge that captured my attention. It was a rainy day and I found the rain enhanced the curves and caused them to glisten all the more. The powerful rush of water pushing through this canyon created such impressive lines and I was fascinated by the gentle beauty that was created and remained as a result.
