Herd of Bison along Yellowstone RIver

The day prior we had seen few Bison, satisfying our want to see one. On our way to the East entrance of Yellowstone the next day, we rounded one of the final turns before entering a long journey into the mountains. Sure enough we were gifted with one of the most incredible things I have ever seen, a wide open field of over 100 bison. They were grazing, napping, drinking from the river. Nothing short of special, truly a once in a lifetime experience.
