Herding ducks

During dry season, many sandbars among Da Rang river become temporary farms for local farmers here to raise thousand of ducks. Ducks not only provide food but also weed the rice fields and fertilize the rice with their droppings. They also eat the algae and other weeds that grow near the young rice plants. It really was spectacular when i had a chance to observe the ducks swimming around farmer's boat during their lunch time and randomly making very interesting formations from above.
