A barred owl in Saratoga Springs, New York. I was hiking through a wooded area on a sunny day, but the temperature was about 2 deg. F. Since this was still at the height of the pandemic, I was more inclined to outdoor activities. I briefly saw a large hawk-like creature land on a tree. It wasn't until I zoomed in that I realized it was a beautiful owl staring back at me.
