A group of Gentoo Penguins were playing King of the Ice, in a Bay in the Antarctic Circle. The interchange involved jumping on and off the ice, chasing each other and knocking opponents into the water. It was great fun to watch and photograph, as it went on for quiet a while, with lots of variation. This shot captures one penguin who had achieved the advantage, seeming to scream at a challenger who had just jumped back onto the ice after being knocked into the water. The challenger, seems to be expressing contempt at his yelling counterpart's approach.
