Heron spears fish in Chesapeake Bay

While visiting a friend with a house at the confluence of the Rappahanock river and the Chesapeake bay, this heron came out to eat each night at dusk. He was the most successful fisher I have ever seen, catching fish after fish. The sun would set right behind him, backlighting him as the sky darkened.
