This photo was taken at Pearl Harbor off of the left side of the memorial pavilion. The sparkle and ripples of the water that washed over the side of the sunken ship in the afternoon sun gleamed brightly. I discovered that many soldiers and sailors who had survived returned later to have their remains buried here with their fellow shipmates.
