23rd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Artistic
Hidden Art in a Stump
What fun to discover hidden art in the stump to see an image of a lady sitting down, holding a lit candle. The small owl close to the ground didn't make a sound...Not even a hoot or screech! In their own special way, the afternoon of early May, a lady and owl each knew how to handle peace to each other with no speech, using photo art to reach human race while resting in solitude and silent grace. I created what to see more clearly in photo shop with added color. Since then, the artful illusions in the wood vanished and crumbled away from so much rainfall this summer, but delighted that I saw it when it was most evident in our yard to shoot a picture.
