Just a beautiful representation of mother nature at work. A mother's job is never done. I believe there were actually 10 chicks by the time she left for her long walk to the creek. Year after year I have a pair of mallards swim in the cover of my pool. It is a beautiful sight to see how attentive they are to each other. Brings me joy when they arrive.
