Hide and Seek with an Octopus
While finishing up a dive to the Sea Plane wreck in Apra Harbor, Guam, my dive buddy and I took an alternate route back to shore. This beautiful octopus dove into his hole as we swam nearby. As we shied away, the color-changing cephalopod popped his head out to keep an eye on us. As we swam away, he fully came out of his hiding place and performed a little dance before darting off into the abyss.
