Hiding Behind Stripes

A shy yet curious plains zebra peers over the backs of its herd mates in the Okavango Delta. The herd’s juxtaposition created a unique orientation of narrowly spaced stripes in the foreground yielding to widely spaced ones, and finally back to narrowly spaced stripes again on the head of the zebra.
