High Tide
From the excessive rains of the Midwest came a rise in tide levels in every water outlet. This picture is at Smithville Lake after the water level had decreased from being 10ft above normal and still at 4ft above normal. This lake is man-made and a piece of the local fabric for fishing, boating and bird sanctuaries. Every spring this lake is the host for more than 100 snow geese.
