Highland inhabitants of the Ukrainian Carpathians.

The highest mountain inhabitants of the Ukrainian Carpathians. The highest settlements are located at an altitude of more than 1000 meters above sea level. There are very harsh living conditions here, because the winter here is very long. Residents of these small villages have to work hard to stock up on food for the winter. Picking berries and mushrooms, cutting hay for the winter for the livestock and many other jobs that take up all their time. But clean air and beautiful nature compensate for all the difficulties of high mountain life.
