Himalayan Dunes
Between the the Himalayas and the Gangdise Mountains, there is a plateau wetland, which is the Maquan River wetland. With an altitude of 4500 meters, it is one of the sources of the the Yarlung Zangbo River. The crisscrossing river channels are dotted with crescent shaped sand dunes, and in the morning light, the sand dunes and distant snow mountains are shrouded in a charming magenta color.
