Male Monal is arguably the most colourful bird found in India. Got chance to shot this beauty during one of my trips. It was sheer splendour seeing this magnificent bird in the morning light. The image shows a full grown male Monal standing on a mossy rock, and it's rainbow-like colours are visible prominently.
