A snapshot I took of a Nepali (nicknamed 'Mountain-tiger') with my phone at a monastery at about 4000 meters altitude in the Himalayas. The stone on which he is resting is the sleeping spot of the only monk living in that monastery, who pays a very high price for the stunning view by sleeping outside every night, covered only by one old blanket. As he is looking up to the peak with the flags behind him, he is for me an epitome of the nepalese people, rooted deeply in their traditions but also thirsting for freedom and full of ambition.
